Woven nearly a century ago, original antique parts are washed, re-dyed, and stitched together by modern-day artisans to create a unique artwork that not only has the traditional look of antique Turkish rugs but also a post-modern, trendy look and feel. The dying process used is environmentally safe. Because of this new trend in rug art, thousands of old rugs are being recycled, resulting in an eco-friendly product.
